I’m a 52 year old male-boomer who realized a short time ago that I had to change my lifestyle or face the reality, my physical body will continue falling apart. I want to be around and active enough to enjoy my life, family and friends. I have a loving wife, daughter, son and grandson with families whom I adore. I figured I better get going and do something to protect and strengthen my physical body.
Three years ago I began the ‘project’ to restart my self on a path to healthier living. Its been difficult to keep from returning to old bad habits and I’ve still got some more changing to do. I’ve lost about 30 pounds of fat and gained 10 pounds of muscle. My BMI is still higher than I’d like but I’m working on lowering it.
My progress helps me keep motivated that I am doing the right thing. I feel so much better, clearer in mind, stronger and full of energy. I can keep up with any 30 year old around. So I encourage y’all to start today by eating better, less and get off your duff!
